Google is ending its unlimited upload of images and videos on the Google Photos platform by May 31st. The uniqueness of this platform is that it can store photos and videos without limits.
Last year, Google announced the end of unlimited free backups provided by the Google Photos platform. According to this, from June 1, Google Photos will also be available in the 15 GB space allotted by Google. Will be part of the free storage. As of now Google Photos is not limited to 15GB so you can upload any number of pictures and videos.
If you need extra space, you can buy 100 GB for Rs 130 or 200 GB for Rs 210 per month. However, there are reports that this limit will not apply to phones released by Google.
However, images uploaded so far will not be lost. Many of the phones currently have the Google Photos app, so uploading images and videos to it creates a huge storage burden for Google. This is the reason for the new change. It is estimated that 43 lakh GB of files are uploaded daily to Gmail, Google Drive and Google Photos alone.
